Washed up
My husband and I bought a house a few months ago, and we moved in yesterday. We bought a front-loading washer today and it should arrive in a few days. I'm really excited to try it out. The door is see-through, so at least I'll have something to do if the cable is ever out.

we're going to buy one too in the next few weeks here, I want to get one of the colored ones. We found an all-in-one washer/dryer on the home depot website. That would be f'in entertaining.
I can't wait to wash five loads of shitty cloth diapers a day!
The coloured ones are more expensive, for the sole reason that they're coloured. Isn't that lame?
It is lame. There were some purple ones at one of the furniture shops here. I thought purple would be cool. Or flaming red.
But I'll settle for white or off white too. I just want some new appliances.
But we're going to wait until our renovations are done... sigh...
I remember being amazed at ours when we moved into our place almost three years ago.
It is kind of fun to watch, but the novelty wears off.
It is pretty friggin' cool, though... how quiet it is, how little water it uses, and how dry the clothes come out.
Well yay for quiet, that means it won't affect my drum playing in the next room
