Gailed

I saw Gail Vaz-Oxlade speak on Wednesday. She tells it like it is, just like on her show. My husband and I introduced ourselves and she recognized him from posting on her blog, because we're cool like that. He and I have had a few good talks since then, and today we finally had a date with the tape measure and a home improvement store to cost out the impending basement renos. Then we tried to ascertain whether it was possible to go to the Daytona 500 next February as well as to Europe in a year and a half (2009), and determined that short of a bingo windfall, it's looking like no, though a smaller race in March might be a possibility. Especially as I can't possibly visit Florida without accidentally visiting every Disney and Universal Studios park. I guess we'll see how everything goes with the basement first.
